Room parents play an important role in supporting teachers and building a sense of community within the classroom. They act as a bridge between the teacher and families, helping to organize classroom events, coordinate volunteers, and assist with special projects or celebrations throughout the year. Room parents often help communicate important information, collect donations for class activities, and ensure that parents are informed and involved. Their support allows teachers to focus more on instruction and students, while creating a warm, connected environment where families feel engaged and appreciated.

We are very thankful for our Room Parent Coordinator, Anna Shannon, for all she does to help every teacher at Larchmont have a team of room parents that are ready to help and support for the 2025-2026 school year!
